I have known Dave since the age of 13, we travelled together on the school bus, played badminton on my lawn and then ate full loaves of toast and peanut butter after school. He was only three weeks older than me and we shared our 18th birthday party (with G) together and also went on a barge holiday with all of our 6th form friends. Once Seth was born we started taking him on birdwatching trips together, the highlights being two superb trips to The Falklands with his family. Once he got his dog Spike, we then started taking annual UK wildlife trips and he drove me miles to see some amazing firsts. He was an amazing friend, the most generous person I have ever met and I still can't believe he's gone, I'll miss him. Adam
